Who would you like to see run that we're not already talking about?

Someone mentioned Spitzer earlier and it got me thinking about who else is out there. Obviously we're all talking about Biden, Clinton, Sanders, Warren, O'Malley, and Webb. But who is out there that we aren't thinking about? Someone that came to mind for me was Russ Feingold. I have to wonder if he would run if he was still in the Senate.

Other names I've seen in the past are Kristen Gillibrand, Sherrod Brown, and Mark Warner.

Sherrod Brown said tonight, on Rachel Show, NO, and his wife also in the studio at the time, said she'd Veto such a move! Rachel discussed several names she's mentioned in the past.

But I'm not surprised. It would have been big news if he was interested.

Who did she mention?

... a really good man. Have had some contacts with him over the years, and he's damned sharp, and really takes constituent problems seriously...and was a ferocious consumer advocate when Attorney general. He'd make a great president...

Is there a problem with the idea that someone ("someone&quot with IDEAS as opposed to name recognition steps up?

IMO, we kill ourselves by demanding WHO as opposed to WHAT because it presumes that they have "star appeal".

It is putting the cart before the horse.

We should focus on what we want re issues and stances. When the will of the Left Wing is made clear, only then can we get a candidate that represents those positions.
