Bill OReilly stated definitively, multiple times tonight, that he believes the United States and the world are in a holy war against ISIS and the White House needs to accept that fact. He said, This is now a so-called holy war between radical jihadists and everyone else, including peaceful Muslims.
And OReilly again faulted President Obama for a lack of leadership in taking on the terror threat. But OReilly was also shocked by the frightening nonsense from State Department spokeswoman Marie Harf on how the U.S. cant kill its way out of war with ISIS. (Harf has since responded to critics by saying her argument might be too nuanced for some.)
OReilly said Obama needs to stop living in a theoretical, fictional world and stop government spokespeople saying things that are insulting and dangerous to the American people.
He concluded by reiterating, The holy war is here.

(5,158 posts)I fully expect Billo to be right there on the front lines.
But he won't be, because he's a chickenhawk who would pull a Ted Nugent and shit his pants to avoid going in combat.

Now add the delusional "End Times" crowd who loves to fire up RW Israelites.

In my dream hell there are categories of suffering:
5 (suffers the least) murderers/rapists
4 anyone who is still a republican at this point in time
3 network execs who decide which sitcoms belong on the air and which dont
2 terrorists who take the lives of innocents
1 chickenshit chickenhawks who advocate for your son/daughter to die in a war while making sure they or theirs never will

(81,861 posts)Should Obama stand in front of a cross while declaring war on ISIS? This statement by itself is a good point: This is now a so-called holy war between radical jihadists and everyone else, including peaceful Muslims.
I think they are at war with everyone, but really they are just bullies that need to be flattened. So does O'Reilly suggest the Christian world invade the ME? Any why is it Obama's responsibility to fight ISIS? If the Iranians, Jordanians, Egyptians are so concerned, they should deal with it.

Seriesly. It had been some time since he had self-convened one boycott after another, with mostly himself as the boycotter, but O'LOOFAH had as his panel this JEFFRESS dude who was spittling and sounding like Daffy Duck and a Catholic priest who sounded downright low key being able to couch his similar fiery message in dulcet tones having come a long way since St Bernard of Clairvaux.
I thought this JEFFRESS clown was a *new* "rough beast slouching to Bethlehem to be born" but Wiki reminded me of his piles of history in our past elections. And then I focused on finding graphics of all these whatses but they are great about guarding their images: St Bernard's portraits are all beaming; JEFFRESS' are all smiley. Hmm, maybe a "Daffy Duck" will be more suggestive of the reality.
Anyway, O'LOOFAH framed himself with the Catholic priest during that segment, all dulcet while he was demanding that all priests, ministers, and rabbis speak the word of Crusade this weekend, be it Friday, Sabbath, Sunday or whatever, and that they all e-mail him with their results and he will read all the ones he can on the air. Uh, would that be something, like, a couple?!1

Robert James Jeffress, Jr.
(born November 29, 1955) is the pastor of the First Baptist Church in Dallas, Texas, United States.[2] He hosts the program, Pathway to Victory, which is broadcast on more than 1,200 television stations and dozens of radio outlets as well. ....
Jeffress supported Governor Rick Perry in the Republican presidential primaries for the 2012 presidential nomination.[18] On October 7, 2011, he provoked a national controversy when he introduced Perry at the Values Voter Summit in Washington, D.C., by indicating that one of Perry's rivals, former Governor Mitt Romney of Massachusetts, is opposed to Christianity. According to Jeffress, Romney's Mormonism contradicts the teachings of Jesus Christ.[19] He had previously made a similar statement to this effect during the 2008 presidential primaries, when Romney lost the nomination to U.S. Senator John S. McCain of Arizona.[20] Nevertheless, in April 2012, Jeffress endorsed Romney for president because of the pastor's strong opposition to the reelection of U.S. President Barack Obama.[21]
