Ashton Carter was sworn in today, but Loretta Lynch's nomination is still languishing in the Senate

Obama nominated Loretta Lynch for Attorney General and Ashton Carter for Defense Secretary.

Loretta Lynch was nominated a month earlier than Ashton Carter, but so far the Republicans have blocked her confirmation even though they haven't raised any formal objections to her. Basically, they haven't given a reason for the delay.

So how come Carter gets confirmed while Lynch's confirmation has been delayed indefinitely for no reason?

Can you guess which one is black and which one is white?

day these racist pricks delay her appointment.

I still cant get over those fucking racist assholes asking her "you are no Eric Holder, are you?"

My response would have been:

"No Senator, I am not, I can only hope to be half the Attorney General he was"

Are we going to see ANY major nominees who aren't tied to the hip with Wall Street? Ashton Carter is a Goldmanite. Lynch sat on the NY Fed board (unprecedented for an attorney). Are we witnessing high offices simply being sold outright to the highest bidder? I ask only because I am so pressed to find an innocent explanation as to why every nominee seems to come from the same Wall Street cabal these days.
