The two met privately at the former secretary of state's Washington, D.C. home in December, according to the source, and have talked on the phone, as well. The New York Times first reported the December meeting on Tuesday.

(34,661 posts)If she really wants this Election,she has to distance herself from the Third Way Ideology and stay with the hard core Middle Class Issues. With all of the Gerrymandering that has taken place since 2010,this is the only way she can win nationally. I call it the FDR strategy. People of this Nation will follow their pocket books and there in lies the message. The last one who really did this is Kennedy. The rest just kissed the Bankers Ring.

And for Mrs. Clinton, it was a signal that she would prefer Ms. Warrens counsel delivered in person, as a friendly insider, rather than on national television or in opinion articles. And for Ms. Warren, the meeting offered the opportunity to make clear what she believes are the most pressing national issues.

(4,229 posts)If Hillary took 4 or 5 ideas and ran on putting them into law and actually did it I'd be happy.
However I have heard every presidential candidate talk tough on trade, talk about ending the tax break for offshoring and talk about allowing bargaining for drug prices and nothing ever comes of it.
