The real reason the traditional media refuses to report on the collapse of the GOP Congress.

...................

Folks approve of Obama as much as they detest the GOP - who wants to report on a political blowout game in progress?

It is going to take a lot of Eastern Seaboard snowstorms to cover up the inevitable shitstorm of American liberal and common sense populism when it starts rolling. And, baby, it is rolling.

Keeping a lid on the fact that ALL of Obama's ideas, from the economy, to immigration, to infrastructure to health care, to climate change - the list goes on and on - are as popular with the folks as they are unpopular with the alien Congress is full time work for the traditional media - and it is wearing them down, one fake news anchor at a time, but if there is some collateral damage on the way to restoring an actual "Free" Press, so be it. Regrettable, but acceptable - maybe even necessary as a critical and seminal first step.

Exactly when, if I may ask, did democracy not become a clash of ideas protected by free speech and moderated by a guardian media? The traditional media is no longer playing the role of moderator, the guardian part was abandoned long ago, having sold out, literally, to be cheerleaders for ideology. Not a problem, but when are they going to give full disclosure?

Step aside, traditional media, your lying has finally caught up to you, the social media news tells it like it is, warts and all - the truth is just plain ugly some times. But lies get folks killed, truth just hurts momentarily.

Keep calm and carry on - verify, then trust - the traditional media no longer has a chance to lie America into another war, or to return the nation to Laffer Curve, supply side economic voodoo, there is just too much truth out there and we are it; Obama understands.

People gave CONgress a 9% approval rating in 2014. Yet they re-elected 96% of them, and the ones they didn't re-elect were predominantly Democrats, the same party as the President. I think we have seen that generalized polls mean nothing. Polls focussed on one person, like the President, do mean something as the voter has a name and face to go with the position- rather than some nebulous entity and a few figureheads that they can focus their hate on, but never vote for/against.

Congress is nearly paralyzed and almost 100% dysfunctional.

This is a major scandal IMO.

One branch of our government has stopped working and the media barely talks about it.

It definitely looks like it is going that way.

Currently they are about as effective as the Democrats previously. If they fail to pass this DHS funding bill, then it will be more dysfunctional and we can start pointing the shame finger. Everyone recognizes it is the Tea Baggers. Heck, some of those folks are downright gleeful about it.

If there is some sort of grassroots public mobilization occurring, then why the heck are the Democrats foisting HRC into the race? She is about as grassroots as Madeline Albright. All this will do is create weak support in the Democratic base, annoy the Republicans even more, and annoy a good portion of independents as well. I foresee an unsuccessful race there.

And there is still the question of voting machines.

America soon at critical mass, and all I can say to Hillary is that it is not too late to get on the bandwagon, or get left behind yet again.

But she is smart enough, either alone or with her husband, to sense the changing political winds - I think - and if she does not....who knows...despite the media self serving insistence that it is, it is not election campaign season in America yet, it is governing season - I can read a calendar.

Jeb Bush will have the billions and corporate media, oppression of votes, and of course "Liberal" site's trolls who in 2014 trashed the President of the USA in accordance with every means of damage to the Dems.

Call it fate? Don't know, but Dems who were in control in Congress did not forget about the people of America. These motherf**ers don't give a shit about me nor my family.

I don't think it was disappointed Democrats who made Congress so awful. I think it was the awful Congress that disappointed the Democrats.
