WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY FOR VERMONT *EXCEPT* THE CHAMPLAIN VALLEY AND LAMOILLE/ORLEANS COUNTIES 1PM TODAY TO 10 AM SUNDAY

WIND CHILL WARNING 10 AM SUNDAY THROUGH NOON MONDAY FOR VERMONT AND EASTERN NEW YORK

THIS PM: Light snow, a dusting to 3 inches by sunset—greatest in the southern Green Mountains. Highs in the teens above, near 10 northeast. Wind east to southeast near 10 mph.

TONIGHT: Snow, possibly moderate to heavy at times from roughly the Connecticut Valley east especially after midnight. Lows 5-12 south, 5A-10B zero north, coldest northwest. East to southeast wind diminishing to light and variable, then shifting to north and increasing to 10-15 mph with gusts to 25 mph except 15-25 mph with gusts to 40 mph over southern VT, southern NH, and Massachusetts.

SUNDAY: Snow east, and snow showers west, tapering off. Windy and very cold. Temperature steady or falling. Northwest wind 10-25 mph with gusts to 40 mph, except 40-50 mph over southern New Hampshire, northern Massachusetts and southeast Vermont. Total snow accumulation 6-10” near and east of the Connecticut River; 2-6” otherwise.
