Probably a graduate from the Sarah Palin University on-line school, she with nothing more than a can of plaster mix proves definitely that all of us are victims of greedy paleontologists:

(1,307 posts)Across the ocean in North America, dinosaur tracks were studied in the Connecticut Valley, beginning in the 1830's. They were believed to belong to enormous ravens, freed from Noah's Ark after the Great Flood

The article is just pointing that out. You don't assume the article is suggesting it true?

(33,604 posts)they are putting fossils in a historical context and not disputing that they are dinosaurs.
They are in no way saying the Raven thing is true, just what people at the time thought.

(42,641 posts)You bunch of smarties, with your insistence on facts and logic and evidence are all forgetting the First Principle of Faith based science:
If I do not believe it than it cannot be true.
And the Second Principle:
If it makes me uncomfortable it cannot be true.
So there!!

(37,161 posts)...where it got into a whole "Poe's Law" debate: is it stupidity, or brilliant trolling?
After checking not just this video but taking a look at their YouTube page, I think I'm moving out of the "it's brilliant trolling" camp, and into the "holy crap, there are piles of old tires that have more brain cells in whatever's growing in the stagnant rainwater trapped in them than these people are using" camp.

(48,955 posts)but like you I did a little surfing. And found an article that appearts to be more than 4 years old on this topic. The article is titled Dinosaurs: Science or Science Fiction. http://ocii.com/~dpwozney/dinosaurs.htm
It reads like the video.
Wow. and Yikes.

(451 posts)I used to work with a grown man that said dinosaurs never existed. When I brought up the existence of dinosaur fossils, his reply was that they are just rocks that happen to be in the shape of bones. I asked him where he learned that. His reply: My pastor.

I was suprised - but there are a number of nutty things people have posted on the web about this. Over a period of time.
My first impression on another thread (about the lady banned from a mommy's forum for on rants about Christians against Dinosaur's) brilliant trolling. Parody heaven.
But then I saw this - and surfed the web a bit - and..... there's a whole little subculture out there that think Paleontogists are in it for the money and are hoaxing us all!
Its both disturbing and amusing at the same time.

In her next video where she "proves" that oil does not come from the imaginary dinosaur, but instead comes from Mr. Valvoline. Downside was that she had to punch a hole in the oil pan of the family SUV to prove the point.
