Evolution has been "disproven?"

Well, Sandy Rios thinks so...

Sandy Rios: 'The Real Experts' Know Evolution Has Been 'Disproven'

Submitted by Brian Tashman on Friday, 2/13/2015 1:00 pm

American Family Association governmental affairs director Sandy Rios is upset that media commentators like George Will are mocking Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker for refusing to say this week whether he believes in evolution. After all, Rios explained on her radio show today, “science has done nothing but disprove the theory of evolution.” “There is no scientific evidence” to substantiate evolution, she said, at least according to “the real experts.” So why has this stunning revelation that the foundational theory behind modern biology has been refuted not percolated through the scientific community? Well, Rios explained, that’s because evolution has become a sacred, religious tenant.

He started out talking about how he could get in trouble for telling us "the truth" and went on to "they expect us to believe.... " but won't let me tell you about the garden of Eden. He was one of those young teachers all the girls had a crush on and clowned around with students. So, kids trusted him and they were loyal to him.

They also never give their supporting evidence for their ridiculous assertions, since they know it's subject to refutation.

because dontcha know, the bible has the real story about how bats are birds, rabbits are ruminants and goats who copulate in sight of a "streaked rod" will have streaked baby goats.

They really believe all this Bronze Age bullshit and steal the name of science to back it up with a word whose meaning they don't know.

That type of ignorance is deadly to the human spirit.

or more likely the argument that evolution violates the laws of thermodynamics.

She's accepted an argument and thinks it is right...which makes the majority wrong in their positions, and elevates her position to a burning point of truth...that although small makes for her a pretty and reassuring light.

Scopes was convicted of teaching evolution, but his conviction was overturned so the case could not be appealed.

(The states that had outlawed evolution finally had their laws overturned by the Supreme Court in the late 60's.)

Science did win the Scopes trial in the court of public opinion, though, creationists were made out to be back-country boobs who were afraid of science.
