especially neurological trauma, to reduce the work load on affected body systems. Being found face down in a bathtub full of water would certainly qualify. The coma will reduce swelling in her brain from injury suffered to oxygen deprivation. It is not unusual for such people to have seizures when the coma is lightened for the first time.

Yes, CPR does cause bruises. It can also break ribs and lacerate internal organs. This is why people without training shouldn't attempt it and people with training should verify that the unresponsive person has no pulse.

And this, too, is all we know.

If she does regain consciousness, she's going to have a long road back.

Report: Bobbi Kristina in wreck days before near drowning

Channel 2 Action News has confirmed that Bobbi Kristina Brown was involved in a traffic accident that injured two people days before she was hospitalized.

A police report says Brown lost control of her Jeep Liberty when a tire blew out on Jan. 27, crossing into oncoming traffic and colliding with another vehicle. The crash happened on Holcomb Bridge Road in Roswell.

Brown's passenger and the other car's driver were hospitalized. Brown blamed tire failure, and officers found a nail in the Jeep's blown-out right rear tire, the incident report says.

Was this the work of someone trying to harm her? If so, who?
