When are we going to learn that in a republic the states are more important than the POTUS.
IMO, the 2016 election will make the McGovern election look like a landslide.

Oh, and I hope you are not right...I voted for McGovern and it was a terrible loss.

are the political leaders that the average voter are influenced by. They control redistricting for congress every 10 yrs.
These are the elections that get people to vote.
