Imagine lying to the entire planet and starting an illegal war and occupation

killing a million Iraqis and scattering millions more all over as they run from death......and Brian Williams is suspended for six months without pay.
Bet he's sorry he lied for them.

This is all farce.

Who voted against it?
Brian Williams pales in comparison to those who gave the final thumbs up.

Still the vast majority of networks and cable news lied about the war and had plants and embedded hacks.

As I wrote elsewhere I am no fan of Brian Williams but this stinks

has suddenly become concerned about lying.

They FIRED and/or destroyed the careers of those who TOLD THE TRUTH, see Ashley Banfield and Dan Rather eg.

So I wonder who it was?

..who marched, globally, against the "war". The media barely told that story.
They should have listened to those who loudly stated that there was no proof of Iraqi involvement nor wmd's before committing to the liars at the top.
They could have voted NO.

Totally agree, the corporate media will admit to no culpability in this immoral and unjustified war, but will all chime in on what an outrage the Brian Williams thing is. It is downright scary to go back and look at the videos, the lack of serious questioning. Letting the Bush criminals go on every show and spout their lies with no challenges, Condi, the Dick, and the whole damn lying crooks.

Peace

They act as though no one trusts them because of Brian Williams. No one trusts them because they are liars who go on the air each day and fail to inform the country that democracy is over.

Brian Williams is their scapegoat. They all lied and they all continue to lie.
I'm guessing they're all scared since that German editor wrote that he carried more than a few stories for the CIA.
