It's so freaking obvious what the GOP is trying to do.

The last presidential election, the GOP was wont to demonize the middle and lower class Americans. That backfired on them rather harshly.

They still feel the same way about Americans that don't belong to the upper class of very wealthy people, so they got handed new talking points. This time around, the GOP pretends that they care about the blight of the middle and lower class/working class of Americans. From Mitt Romney to Ted Cruz to all the wingnuts in between, all of a sudden, they're concerned about the economic hardships that have befallen on the most venerable of Americans while at the same time bemoaning that it was the Dems and not the GOP that put Americans in that position.

Now, the GOP cries that the Democratic Party is the party of the one percent. Repeat the lie often enough and people will start to believe it. And the sad part is that millions of people will believe the lie, just like when the GOP used the phrase, "Tax and spend liberal."

The shameless GOP will stoop so low that they're scraping the bottom of the barrel for scum to feed on.

Helping people at the same time you just voted for the 56th time to take healthcare away. They voted to take SS from the disabled. It was the first damn thing these evil pricks did after taking the majority. They talk out their ass but their policy is the same ole bullshit for the 1%

2. Yep, lip service and late to the party at that. Remember Ann Romney's "I love you women" in 2012?

And they wondered why that one, single example of "outreach" didn't convince more women to vote for them

Of another major recession, or worse, if they manage to win, and/or 'jack, the 2016 elections.

The problem is that a large number of people will swallow it hook, line and sinker.

And be aware that it will likely be somewhat worse than you are explaining here. Remember that they are absolute hypocrits and are absolutely shameless. They will likely try to establish a meme that the Dems are the party of the rich elites and are out of touch with the real working class of America.

They are an absolute disaster when the govern and their policies are completely bankrupt or worse but they do one thing very well. They know exactly how to manipulate a significant portion of the American electorate.
