Football team plane' found' 50 years after crash in Chile (BBC)

Mountaineers in Chile say they have discovered the wreckage of a plane that went missing more than 50 years ago.

Twenty four people died when the aircraft disappeared in 1961 - among them eight players for what was then one of Chile's top football teams.

The BBC's Tim Allman reports.

The burn-out wreckage was found on 10 April 1961 on La Gotera Hill in the Lastima-Pejerreymin Range, all on board had been killed.
