But having similar votes with Kerry isn't a bad thing. He's reliably liberal. He just can't always remember which position he supports.

He investigated fraud. However it was dilligented under the radar....since Dem power structure abd chairman, (who were in fact happy he "lost" to then expect Hillary 2008,) didnt offered him any party backing for public challenge.

He would have to resign to run and he's not going to do that. Ironically Kerry is now more likely to run than Warren. It is a shame Kerry won the nomination in 2004. We could have done better.

Two weights... two measures.

I bet it is nit sooo an issue when Mrs Clinton feels even more entiteled? Yes. Because unlike Kerry, she loves little DC games. Unlike Kerry she is in a fashionable and mainstreamesque " popular"...

and use it, in Kerry's case, as belonging to the larger 'dynasty' of the uber-rich.

Private school in the early years, Ivy league, Skull and Bones, 4 months in SE Asia and receives medals and, damn! what a perfectly crafted start! If he hasn't been groomed for the White House since...well, since Mitt Romney...

He's worth around a quarter-billion dollars.

Private school: paid by a aunt since his father, a State employee couldn offer.

Skull and Bones: Unlike so many others he never used it on polical career improvement.

Medals: where is the problem?

Crafty start: Not that easy. Yes Kerry was a successfull VVAW sppkesman but he later paid the prices as je first ran for Congress and lost due a disgusting character assasination by the Lovell Sun and Nixon dirty tricks. Then he entered Boston law school.

And for the "rich elite guy"...Befire marrying Teresa Heinz he wasnt that rich. He was just upper middle class. Of course he got rich after marrying and also because he inheritated money from his own family.

Sun Feb 8, 2015, 02:00 PM
Feb 2015

beating Ronald Reagan's record of 69 years old.

That seems a long shot, and he might only be able to serve one term.

And speaking of age, Hillary also would be 69 years old, as old as Reagan was upon inauguration, so she would tie for oldest president.

That is one problem the Democrats have, in my opinion, the big stars are all becoming too old and that will be a liability in any run for president.

We need some youthful presidential contenders!

As I recall The Clinton Machine was crushed pretty good in 2008 and that's with Bill and Hillary tag-team campaigning. Lots of bluster from them doesn't necessarily correlate with success.

However, it's pretty clear Hillary intends to big foot the primary this go and proceed directly to the general. I support any effort to impede that endeavor and hopefully take her out in the primary again.
