GOP Senator Says There Are ‘Too Many Empty Beds’ At Gitmo (VIDEO)

While some on the left have made a hobby of complaining that Obama hasn’t somehow single-handedly closed Gitmo, the facility that’s been holding untried prisoners of war for over a decade now, Republicans are lamenting the fact that there aren’t enough prisoners at Gitmo – at least one is.

The President tries – he really does, despite the fact that he has always had to deal with an obstructionist Senate and a country that, even if they want the prisoners released, don’t want them released into the SuperMax prisons in their home states.

Still, Obama perseveres and in dribs and drabs, has been releasing the prisoners, calling it a national security issue and putting some blame for ISIS on the policy of permanent detention.

If there are too many empty beds at Gitmo, why not send seditionists like the Koch Bros. and their GOP puppets in Congress there? Problem solved.
