By JOSH MARSHALL Published FEBRUARY 6, 2015, 12:42 AM EST

news network anchor, the pinnacle of pretend credibility, a national treasure of a figure head, lying.

Having a gallery of strawmen is not any more of a counterpoint than having just one.

And the issue is not just Wlliams, it is all of NBC covering and even advertising the lie for over 12 years, and the general lying of the mass media.

What else are they lying about?

Lie, and you're rewarded. Tell the truth, and you're out on your tukhus. That speaks volumes about the state of the US Mass Media today.
