Full Page Ad For Brian Williams - Timing Is Everything......

I just opened the latest issue of The Week (weekly news magazine) and saw a full page ad for Brian Williams and the Nightly News.

It reads: 10 Years with Brian Williams

He's been there. He'll be there.

The copy: Some battle scars are worn on the inside.
And for anyone who's been there,
there's a secret. It doesn't harden you.
It makes you more human.

The picture is sunglassed Brian Williams with his hands on the shoulders of a soldier with some airplane in the background.

This just cracked me up when I saw it considering the circumstances.

I kinda wish the show the "Newsroom" would be coming back for another season. This whole thing surrounding Williams would have made great fodder for an episode.

The 'NBC Nightly News' anchor is the subject of an investigation by NBC, which sources said will be headed by Richard Esposito, a former Daily News editor. Williams' reporting on Hurricane Katrina is now being questioned, too. The newsreader's predecessor, Tom Brokaw, has denied claims that he urged NBC bosses to fire Williams, who has not admitted that he lied.
