Fiorina: 'Looking more likely' I'll run for president

Washington (CNN)Former Hewlett Packard CEO Carly Fiorina said Thursday it's "looking more likely" that she'll run for president in 2016, though she acknowledged she faces challenges in the wide-open Republican presidential primary field.

In an interview on Boston Herald Radio, Fiorina said her primary concern right now is introducing herself to voters, and raising enough money to compete.

"Of course people don't know me and they need to get to know me," Fiorina said. "Do we need to raise money? Yes. Do we need to raise as much money as Jeb Bush? No."

Former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush's team has telegraphed plans to raise $100 million in the first quarter of the year, an eye-popping sum intended to discourage some of his potential GOP opponents from the race. Fiorina said, however, she believes there are other ways to compete.

Sorry, Carli, we do know you quite well:

“The Job-Killing Touch”: How Carly Fiorina Wrecked Hewlett-Packard and the Bell Labs, and Set American Science Back By Decades

That Carly Fiorina was a one-woman wrecking crew during her tenure as CEO of Hewlett-Packard is a scandal that the Republican Senate standard bearer is spending millions to try and blunt. Running on her executive experience, it is hard to see how Fiorina can square her professed executive aptitude with the fact that as H-P CEO between 1999 and 2005, she single-handedly came near to sinking what was widely considered the world’s best technology company.

Now that is going to be highly entertaining! And, no, Carly, we already know you. Enough to know that you should never come within a thousand yards of the Oval Office desk.

Jeb Bush, et al. just might find a female Neocon on the ticket could help neutralize the 'Hillary Clinton' wave, and Carly Fiorina would fill the spot well.

Country club republicans will find her palatable; she's not Palin dumb by a long shot.

He may have the charisma of a Zuchini - but except for migrants issue - he checks all the primary voters boxes and the establishment can rally around him too.

Simply put - He is the only guy both camps can get behind.

Barring a big surprise on Democratic side - I expect to see Walker vs Hillary 2016 campaign.

Basically its going to be ( racists, ageists, misogynists, cake eaters & dumb asses ) vs everyone else

based just on personality alone. Whether you agree with her or not, Hillary is a pleasant person. Fiorina comes off as dismissive to those she doesn't agree with and abrasive.
