The JBS never left the GOP it was always an undercurrent in the party, then in the 80's the GOP joined forces with the religious lunatics and we end up where we were at today.

If they are not kept under control the Teahadists and the GOP will evolve into something like ISIS.

That is the current path we are on in America.

OH BTW I highly recommend ALL liberals and progressive exercise their second amendment rights before the Teahadists totally lose it.

The GOP in it's pandering for TeaBag support have incidentally fallen into the mold of the old Birch Society.

That they may have a hard time looking at themselves in the mirror now is the result of a beast they themselves cultivated to counter the election of an African American president. Probably sounded like a good idea at the time. Reap what ye sow.
