Republicans Announce Alternative to Obamacare, Beg Americans to Misremember History
You have to somewhat, on a primal level, grudgingly admire the sheer, jaw dropping audacity of Republicans to be able put lipstick on a recycled pig - and then try to make it fly as something new. Without a hint of embarrassment.
Tax credits to buy insurance from the private sector. Full stop.
"Please misremember" that Republicans will be stripping all consumers, never mind the 19 million newly insured thrown off insurance rolls, of all of the vast array of benefits written into law in the ACA. Provisions that finally balance the marketplace against the oligarchical collectivism and out of control spending of national insurance companies, a law that is demonstrably working as intended.
Just the latest example, one of many, of how America can no longer pretend that the massive and systematic "misremembering and pretending" of Republicans, and their network of ethically challenged media outlet co-conspirators, is just for harmless entertainment purposes - this is real important stuff folks.
The GOP, literally, have no plan for anything - nada. War, as a general purpose plan, for all things, maybe they got that, but otherwise they have nothing planned out, except to blow things up, they got that. Literally nothing. Zilch. Poof.
Insurance law not to their liking? Blow it up.
Immigration law not to their liking? Blow it up.
Another Abrahamic religion they no like? Blow it up!
Climate warming? Blow it up real good.
Republicans literally believe that their God, and their God only, is set to prophesied autopilot - so not to worry, idiot liberals, He will do all the planning automatically, the Earth itself is set to be blowed up real good, as already all planned out long ago.
Republicans even have an antique Book that tells them all about it, in detail.
The future is written - "No liberals allowed in Paradise". End of story.
