Sentence Reduced For Former Teacher Who Took Nude Photos Of Students
McLOUD, Oklahoma - A judge has reduced sentence for a former McLoud teacher, who is serving time on multiple child exploitation and child pornography charges after she admitted to taking nude photos of her third-grade students and sending them to a former professor, over the objection of prosecutors.
Kimberly Crain had originally pleaded no contest to those charges. But in a deal with prosecutors, on March 22, 2013, Crain agreed to plead guilty to all 31 counts and was sentenced to 45 years in prison.
On Thursday, February 5, 2015, News 9 confirmed that Crain's sentence was reduced by 10 years. She is now serving 35 years in prison.
Crain's co-defendant, former professor of early childhood development Gary Doby of Pennsylvania, pleaded guilty to child exploitation charges and was sentenced to life in prison.
