Joan came on at three on the morning of the second day, because all the acts ran way over their time limits. The first day was supposed to end at midnight, but went to 6 am on the second day of the concert. The first day of the concert was all folksingers.

It was pouring down rain, and she was yakking about her husband who was in prison for some kind of draft protest. Nobody cared. We were wet and miserable.

We left later on the second day. Hendrix didn't appear until the end of the third day, and half the people were gone by then, they couldn't take the weather and lack of food.
