Protesters are demanding that the defense minister and attorney general resign, while intense clashes continue in eastern Ukraine.
Hundreds of demonstrators have broken through the first line of the Ukrainian National Guard Monday and are attempting to enter the conference room of the office of the president of Ukraine. Ukrainian police have reported multiple clashes between National Guard troops and protesters.
Protesters are demanding the resignation of the Ukrainian defense minister and the attorney general.
In the past 24 hours, around 16 civilians have been killed in fighting in eastern Ukraine, as the conflict has escalated in the past few days.
