My parents have former friends who moved away from Iowa to get away from gay marriage

This very religious couple my parents used to be friends with moved away from their state when it legalized gay marriage. They moved to Tennessee to be in a "pro-family"state (because you see, gay people don't have families). Now the wagons are circling and its only a matter of time before the Bible Belt states will have to allow marriage equality.

Maybe this couple can move to Uganda next.

My parent are not friends with them anymore.

They might as well have moved to get away from the black or latino or muslim or jewish or asian family next door.

And into blue states to escape Republicans only to end up with a Republican Governor. If you move, hopefully a lot of reasons are part of the decision factors then strictly anything politics because things change constantly and unless you want to move constantly then many factors should be in the decision.

Or do they decide to move, then pretend to do it on principle?

Somehow, I doubt that even the very rich would trouble themselves so.

Tenn. evangelical congregation to back gay marriage

NASHVILLE — After more than two years of intense, "at times, devastating," discussion, a large evangelical Christian congregation near Nashville has announced it will support gay marriage.
