An example of the Israeli media showing the really negative personal side of teh Netanyahus

I have been reading Haartez for several years, but never before an election. It is amazing that there are attacks on the integrity of almost every party.

This article on Netanyahu's wife having at one time taken all the empty bottles from water and drink (purchased for the residence by the state) to get money for the Netanyahus - rather than the state is fascinating. (I love the little detail that Netanyahu switched to the smaller (more expensive) mineral waters because the small ones had a deposit and the larger ones didn't. )

There is something here -- because the Netanyahus aciually paid back some money to the government when this was originally raised.

This - and the other stories from the disgruntled former overseers (yes, more than one) of the residence show a very obnoxious couple. I suspect that charges like this would have far more impact in the US than in Israel.

2. Well with actions like this - he deserves it

If his obnoxiousness was just in his personal life, it would be one thing. However, his actions against the US (more during the attacks on Gaza than the recent mess) show that he is willing to be dishonest - smearing others in the process - if he thinks that gets him where he needs to go.

Here, it is hard to argue that they did not try to profit financially from his government position.
