Do you think World Corporate Capitalism can be reformed without destroying the 1 percent

When they have more combined power than any nation state?

You are kiddig yourselves if you think the problems the earth faces can be changed just by a presidential election when most are just answering to their masters who run things as the recent Devos conference showed some how bad and open they are with their contempt of you and humanity

The economics
of their system causes, all the inequalities you see and complain about be it
sex, religon, race or tv.............and they want it all

Yes.... do change locally but think globally, the planet is dying and needless others because of these assholes

ranting on my daughter's iPad ......boy I hate writing on this so I had to keep it short.

Don't need to be destroyed. Tax rates just retuned to old rates (70%) so they brought back to earth on point Jan 2015 #1

too many laws protect them world wide.

I use to think that old school solution but in today's world
they have gamed the system.

Off shore money still taxable. But also all the old fees for money transfers would be good too. We just need to look to history to how all this handle before the wealthy starting the globalization 'free trade' race to bottom game.

But that would still necesitate major revolutionary changes from below that would actualize that world agreement.

That is not the .01%.

That is the .001%.

Their wealth was not obtained legally.

Sure, capitalism can be somewhat reformed, and some intolerable conditions can be ameliorated thereby, but ultimately, we will have to have a long and hard look at the ownership of the means of production. I would opt for a combination of producers & consumers co-ops, worker-owned companies, credit unions, government monopolies where needed, etc.

Capitalism is a Ponzi scheme that requires continued growth.

When we get to a certain point in wealth concentration, the system goes pathological, eats itself & collapses. This process seems to be underway at the moment, and has been in varying degrees for a while. Think Bain Capital, for a notorious example.

Yes it has to be tied world wide but first locally, regionalily but not wth the ecoomic system that exists now as you said with economic democracy in the work place.

Perhaps if a sane, simple, humane and progressive tax system, including about an 80% rate on intergenerational transfers of huge piles of cash and securities, as opposed to ongoing businesses, and a 70% marginal rate can be enacted they can be allowed to exist.

Financially, it is necessary to draw their teeth and bust them down to size big time. They'd think they were being destroyed if only because they'd no longer have more money than they could count in ten lifetimes.

But absent real tax reform, which will NEVER happen under the current 100% corrupt electoral system, there's a very plausible and supportable moral argument to be made for the guillotine. Too many parasites will kill the host upon which they feed, a fact these shitheels do not seem to recognize.

ETA - So NO when you get down to the real world. And good riddance to the worst of rubbish.
