Lets start with them and then go out to every protest by anti-choice folks around the country; Bring out lists of all the children who are waiting for adoption and have them sign up to adopt a child. Once that list has been exhausted then have them sign up for those women being forced to carry a pregnancy to full term. It's a personal responsibility and they themselves should take responsibility for that birth. Bring a bill up in the House and Senate , call it, "Caring for Life", a bill that would require folks to sign up for the lifelong care of the life they are want to preserve, since the right of the woman to choose has been usurped by the Gov...... Or call it "Abolish Orphans" bill, where every unwanted forced pregnancy automatically receives a guarantee of adoption and covers not only of the woman's medical bills but pays her a salary while she is pregnant (say $20.00 per hour, since pregnancy is a medical risk to the woman). Also include a $20,000 payment per year for the care of that child, until the age of 18 years. A legal conservator will be assigned to see that the money goes only to that child ... all expense receipts must be recorded, to keep everything legit. Why should the "Right to Life" crowd get to opt out of that life? If they really care then let them prove it ...... even children with physical or mental handicaps should be on the list and the future adopting folks don't get a choice about the child they get. A life is a life right? They should not have a problem with this idea. Otherwise they should just shut the muck up and mind their own lives. And after such laws are enacted, if BIG Gov. gets too big, then lets scrape the whole thing and go back to letting women have the right to choose. What do you think?

(113,329 posts)and I hear all the time about how much money these people are donating to charities and doing "private work" (none of which can ever be verified).

(3,741 posts)it is time to act ..... bring the lists of orphans to the offices of congress and to protests. Get these hypocrites on youtube rejecting the care of children needing to be adopted. Shame them.

(23,156 posts)for the child, if born handicapped, especially if the mother might otherwise have chosen not to give birth to that handicapped child, all those expenses are fully covered.
