Liberal Extremism Defined

You are an extreme liberal if you support the following.

1. Support the passage of ERA.
2. Support unions and the right to organize.
3. Support caring for the most vulnerable in our society.
4. Support a domestic safety net.
5. Support an economic bill of rights.
6. Support separation of church and state.
7. Support a woman's right to control her health care and reproductive rights.
8. Support a national health care system.
9. Support reasonable regulation of business excesses.

To the GOP anything that does not help only the 1% is extreme liberalism or communism.
The 99% will not allow the kind of country the 1% want to exist.

but I consider the current GOP to be neocon knuckle dragging thugs that use the same baseless propaganda associated with the era of Nazi Germany.

Thom Hartmann often says on his program that anyone who compares the GOP to the Nazis loses the argument. If there is anything I disagree with Thom on is that statement.

If you look at the history of how they came to power in Germany, the GOP is using almost all the same tactics. And if you really look closely at the GOP there is an underlying antiSemitism in the party as well. It is an issue that Cantor won't address.

especially since their modus operandi are identical. When I was stationed in Germany I studied the Nurenburg War
Crimes trial docs and was shocked (naturally) by what I read. Decades later when repubs came into power, especially the neocons, those docs came to mind.

Also, there was a site on the Internet which listed 30 or 40 identical actions of the Nazis and neocons.

Hartmann, while very knowledgable on things (he loves to show you on his show), reminds me of the typical liberal
who still thinks he can reason with them. You can't. It's no different than trying to talk to a rabid animal.

to turn a vertical paradigm on it's side and say the argument is about left vs.right. All of these issues have to do with a privileged class access to quality of life at the exclusion and cost to everyone else--with the 1% ABOVE and us BELOW. It is within their best interests that people perceive these issues on a horizontal axis since it is much easier for people to scapegoat each other than to take on The Establishment.

This is the most amazing magic trick of ALL --and the most important concept Americans need to understand in order to STOP fighting amongst ourselves and unite against corporate/1% takeover. It's up vs down--the occupy movement gets it, fortunately!! Great post again TMN.
