So I'm listening to Robin Young talking about the Patriots' balls...

(Robin Young is the host of NPR's Here and Now and one of my favorite radio hosts)

with Mike Pesca.

First, she says "... Patriots' deflated balls..." and interjects with "I can't believe I'm reading this."

Then Pesca explains why this is no big deal. I've already figured that it's not nearly as terrible a crime as golf balls having too many dimples or tennis balls having the wrong kind of fuzz, but he sez the rules should be changed to let the quarterback deflate his balls any way he wants. They all do it anyway.

(And why is it called a ball anyway? Balls are round.)
