They are desperate to push the meme downplaying Obama's popularity and how it won't matter because voters will go for Mitt as Manager in Chief. All the toadies around the table were agreeing, altho Mark Halperin was trying to save whatever is left of his dignity on that show (he hedged on the popularity idea).
