"Paris Mayor Anne Hidalgo tells CNN she intends to sue Fox News over the channel's coverage of supposed "no go" zones for non-Muslims.

The channel "insulted" her city, Hidalgo told CNN Chief International Correspondent Christiane Amanpour. "The image of Paris has been prejudiced, and the honor of Paris has been prejudiced."

Hidalgo's remarks came after a series of statements made on Fox that portrayed Muslims in a negative light and were widely challenged. Fox News anchors later issued several apologies for the statements.

Fox representatives did not immediately respond to a request for comment."

for all the jokes about the French "surrendering" everyone always makes, the mayor of Paris has the guts to stand up to the filth that is Faux News. Something no one in the US will do.
