http://www.usatoday.com/story/life/movies/2015/01/20/sarah-palin-joins-sniping-over-american-sniper/22040901/Today, it's Sarah Palin joining the fray, taking to Facebook to denounce "Hollywood leftists," such as filmmaker Michael Moore, who have criticized the film as pro-war and pro-sniper.
"God bless our troops, especially our snipers," she said on her Facebook page.
"Hollywood leftists: while caressing shiny plastic trophies you exchange among one another while spitting on the graves of freedom fighters who allow you to do what you do, just realize the rest of America knows you're not fit to shine Chris Kyle's combat boots....
"Thank you Bradley Cooper and Clint Eastwood for respecting the United States Military."

(3,226 posts)and I had no problem with it, it showed the war for what it was. It seemed like we had no business being there, I was surprised how well it shared the mind set of the troops many who never want to go back and ones who felt the need to be with their "brothers"
There were Snipers on both sides and the film shared how hard it is for the families of those deployed in Iraq. I was left with the feeling of once again how senseless gun violence and war are.
Others may see this film differently but please if you have not seen it don't prejudge it, I went in expecting to to a rightwing pro war film and was surprised by it.
