The Weekly Bug: Romney, Romney AND Romney (again)

Last edited Sun Jan 18, 2015, 04:30 PM - Edit history (1)

It is hard to do something on a regular basis - when you're homeless. Sooner or later, I will make this Group of "The Weekly Bug" - a weekly affair. It will always be about the Good, the Bad and the Ugly of the week before or after.

This week we have Romney promising to be good. Romney's issues of bad and the ugly (if - but nothing else - that Pitten's is running - AGAIN). As a sort of specialist (actually life time {practically} victim) of Willard Mitt Romney's true ways, I believe there are things about the man that we should never forget and those (who somehow possibly don't) SHOULD/could - know.

The GOOD - Romney
[br]

While we are encouraged (some) because Mitt is finally resolving the issue of his running for President of the United States in 2016; and how we find such both a bad and good thing (bad in that he may actually steal the election - as he did the GOP nomination in 2012 - and good, in the sense that it makes our case against him {14 years on going} actually now has a chance of coming full to the fore). The fact of the matter remains, most have either a total love - or hate - of Willard Mitt Romney.

Loving - or Hating - is GOOD!

Hence, there should be no realm of ambiguity this time. No need for flip flopping and/or etch - a - sketching what Willard Mitt Romney IS or IS not - about. But, on the other hand, it would seem that Mitten's is able to twist that possibility too. As this pic above, is from "TheNation.com" website, it also has a 2012 story concerning Mitt that we think is important. It is titled

"Tagg Team: The Romney Family Receipe for Crony Capitalism"

This story is about where the now infamous "47 %" comments by Romney were secretly record (wonder if they ever found out who -and what happened to him OR her). As noted by The Nation's story;

Marc Leder, a wealthy investor, played host to Mitt Romney last May at a private fundraiser at his $4 million home in Boca Raton. Little did Leder know at the time, however, that someone would videotape the event and later leak it to the world, revealing the GOP standard-bearer in the act of caustically dismissing 47 percent of the country as too “dependent upon government” even to consider voting for him this year.
?
Leder attempted to duck the ensuing storm of media attention, telling Fortune that he had simply “hosted a fundraiser for an old friend.” But Leder’s ties to the candidate run deeper than campaign contributions or an old friendship. As an investor, he is part of a network of links to the Romney family business empire that will acquire enormous relevance if the GOP nominee manages to ascend to the White House

[br]
As for GOODy 2 shoes (depending on which ones he's wearing each day) - Romney claims retroactive new leaf
[br]
As for the "Tagg Team" issue of Romney - we'll get to that in a minute. Meanwhile, Romney is now (reportedly) reinventing himself as the one who can heal U.S. from Obama's destructive ways. Thus, Mitt was on the moored U.S.S. Midway - in San Diego this past weekend - promising to rescue the middle class from poverty (see the DU thread by fellow Democrat LiberalElite's posting of "Romney -- Vows to Fight Poverty" .

After all - Romney's an expert - of putting people into poverty!

I'm digressing; but that's okay - I'm a Mitt pic (the bones dry) - victim. As The Nation's story details further, the recording of the 47% remarks happened at a fund raiser Boca Raton home of Marc Leder. Per the noted issues, Mr. Leder and Sun Capital has ties to the Scooter store - where fraud also transpired.

As The Naton further delves;

Take Leder, Romney’s Boca Raton host, whose Sun Capital firm bought a stake in the Scooter Store last year. The company, known for its ubiquitous television ads promising seemingly free motorized wheelchairs for Medicare beneficiaries, has struggled as the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, the federal agency that governs the programs, implements rules to curb rampant billing fraud. As a CMS report noted last year, 80 percent of the claims for scooters and power wheelchairs did not meet Medicare requirements, meaning that $492 million a year is being improperly spent.

In 2007, the Scooter Store gave up $13 million in Medicare payments and paid $4 million to settle with the Justice Department over allegations that it had overbilled for its electric wheelchairs. The company, which has been bleeding money over the years as regulators moved to curb waste, still faces challenges that could make or break its business model—challenges that could be mitigated by pressure from the executive branch

[br]
With the question that begs (in a Haliburton/Cheney kind of way)

---------- If Romney were POTUS - would his DOJ ever do a case against "friendly" Scooter store parties?

The Bad - MitTwit - Romney
Picture immediately above is from 'The Trust Advisor'. Funny, when you think about it, on who would EVER trust Mitt. As the picture notes and most of U.S. know - Romney has TAX questions. These past few weeks, several stories arose about Romney and my Racketeering/ eToys cases. It is hard to believe that 1. - the particular Journo's and entities in question did stories that weren't prompted by yours truly - and .... 2 - That MitTwit had some sort of hissy fit about this and Jeb Bush early announcement about Dallas Dynasty (Bush style) Part III.

You can see Addicting Info's recent story about Romney's Taxes at my DU thread (here).

In the Addicting Info article "What's He {Romney) Hiding" - it states

What’s up with Romney and his tax returns? Given that the majority of Americans have no interest in even looking at their own tax returns, you’ve got to wonder what on earth he’s hiding.

For starters, it’s quite disturbing that — out of all the vile, rapacious corporate raiders on Wall Street, Romney has been targeted with a lawsuit for racketeering. That really says something.

The bar for getting courts to hear a lawsuit on racketeering — the kind of criminal and systemic money laundering, gambling, price fixing, and market manipulations associated with powerful mobs and drug lords — is so high that even fictitious district attorneys on shows like The Wire and The Sopranos have trouble with taking these cases to court.

emphasis of bold is mine
[br]
We are thankful that Addicting Info's Elisabeth story on "What's Romney hiding" that fantastically points out our Racketeering case against Romney; and eToys - TOO! Mitt and his Bain Capital have done many bad things. Busting out companies, sending good ones overseas, destroying American jobs and Union workers along the way.

Isn't it strange how poor the rich wish the poor to be?

As noted by the above mentioned Nation.com article, there's also the bad faith about what would happen if Romney controlled the Government watchdog agencies looking into his fund raising friends affairs. As for me, I know that Mitt's/Adelson "friendly" United States Attorney General - whom ever that will be (Colm Connolly perhaps) - will make what Cheney and his Haliburton did to U.S. - look like child's play.

Here's the Tagg Team part of TheNation.com 2012 article;

Two weeks after Romney’s concession speech in February 2008, Solamere Capital registered with the State of Massachusetts. Zwick and Tagg joined with Eric Scheuermann, a former Jupiter Partners executive, as the three managing partners of the firm.

It seems that Tagg has taken after his father, whose former firm Bain Capital also uses these offshore structures. Most of the offshore entities do not have to file a tax return in the US or anywhere else in the world, making them an ideal shelter for Solamere’s investors, says Wilkins. “To me, the most egregious part of this is that they’re facilitating tax evasion.”

A complaint filed in August with the US Office of Government Ethics argues that Mitt Romney’s investment portfolio violates the Ethics in Government Act because so much of his money rests in opaque funds, like private equity firms and limited partnerships. The law states that presidential officeholders must disclose their investments and their investments’ underlying assets worth more than $1,000. The law, however, carries an exemption for qualified blind trusts.
[br]
It will be BAD news for America, if Mitt does get into the White House as POTUS;

---------------------------------------------------------------- Bain Cap/ Sankaty will -- P A R T Y!

[br]
The UGLY-RACKETEERING - Romney

While some would argue (and chances are I'd agree) that Mitt Romney winding up in the big house, may not be an ugly thing; the fact of the mater remains is that the ugliness is how long his lordship has been able to get away with grand larceny ripping off of RMoney his ways. Though the Addicting Info, FireDogLake and The Nation's articles dig deeper and recent; the fact of the matter remains that all the talk about Solamere by The Nation - mentions NOTHING about the direct connections to the Stanford frauds.

Due SOLELY to federal corruption!
[br]
Everyone asks me how is it possible that Romney has gotten away with it all these years. The ugly truths are apathy, laxity, willful blindness and federal corruption. It's not that the stories (in part) haven't been told by various news agencies (though NOT any = what most would consider = major ones). The jail nail Romney pic above and one's below - are from PoliticusUSA.com's websites. Rmuse told many stories - that no one else was willing to tell - back in 2012.

Here's a listing of Rmuse stories by PoliticusUSA.com (because LasVegasLiberal Jessie - brought it to Rmuse's attention).

Public Records Reveal Romney Profited From Fraud and Corruption

[br]

Tell DOJ to Investigate Romney Related Serial Fraud and Perjury

[br]

One of Romney's Victims Files Racketeering RICO Complaint

[br]

MoveOn.org Files DOJ Complaint about Romney Retroactivity

[br]
Truth be told, there's been more than 169 articles written about our Romney related cases. Including Wall Street Journal, New York Times, Reuters, Samuel Ward/Liberals Unite, Addicting Info and even Fire Dog Lake. Thing is, none of them have done the WHOLE story, in the right way, to force the Department of Justice to change its mind (about protecting Romney, Bain Capital and Goldman Sachs white collar/organized crimes (RICO).

That's because of Department of Justice CORRUPTION!
[br]
If it weren't for the DOJ acting as if these issues are no big deal. And (or) as if the victims (including the integrity of the judicial process) - are so "insubstantial". Then this case - and Romney's reign of organized crime terror - would be over by now. It's not like politicos can't be held culpable/ accountable (such as Agnew or Nixon).

Romney's Bain Capital is so powerful that they arranged for one of their lawyers (Colm F Connolly) to become the Delaware United States Attorney over the very cases in question. If Capone arranged for Frank Nitti to be federal prosecutor over Al Capone's RICO case -

then where would be HELL to pay!

But that's not what's happening here. A precedent is being set - that IF you steal big and fast enough (smoozing it around) - then you file for POTUS run and you become UNtouchable.

This is very troublesome, as Romney = Bain = MNAT, Barry Gold, Paul Traub, Michael Glazer, The Learning Company, Kay Bee, Stage Stores, eToys, Petters Ponzi, Fingerhut, Polaroid, Sun Country Airlines, Frank Vennes, Mike Catain, Larry Reynolds, Tom Petters, Rothschild/Discala, Palm Beach Links Capital, Lancelot, Stanford, Jack Abramoff, Adelphia Rigas brothers and Berni Madoff frauds. With more than 500 years in prison time, more than 2 dozen in jail and over $100 billion in fraud - too!

There's also mayhem and homicides involved that would blow your mind.

Just ask eToys shareholder, Robert Alber, who was helping me. He had to shoot and kill career criminal Michael Sesseyoff. Marty Lackner purportedly committed suicide and John ("Jack&quot Wheeler was hit in the head and tossed into the dump.

You can do what ever crimes you wish and get totally away 'Scot Free' = if you steal enough and are a POTUS wannabe!

I'm just sayin.......

ITS UGLY out here!

Romney got his hand caught in the cookie jar; but he's (thus far) been able to "retroactively" retire from his organized crimes.

Best illustrated by fellow DU guy "JHB" - and his cartoon from my other thread.
