Now that Republicans care about income inequality, they will happily pass Obama's new plans

Why is everyone so sarcastic about Obama getting Congress to cut taxes on the middle class and raise taxes on the wealthy?

Income inequality is the new Republican issue, the care about the poor.

Apparently Democrats screwed up the economy and increased the income inequality, so Republicans will now be champions of those in poverty and fix it.

The first place to start would be to get right on these tax cuts and tax hikes on the rich.

So excited they are so motivated, can't wait for them to get started.

Romney must be excitedly talking about Obama's plans?

Who knew what a benefit it would be to have Republicans control the House and Senate?

Now we will finally get something done about the record levels of poverty!

I was just hoping to get this idea out there so that some miraculous moment would happen on TV where they ask Republicans what their plans are now that they care so much about the poor.

3. With Republicans, they never finish their statements. They care about income inequality among (RICH)

people. They care about tax cuts for the (RICH) American people. They care about cutting taxes for the (RICH) American people. They want tax reform ONLY for (RICH) Americans.

Thanks to lapdog M$M, they get away with omitting that very important word from their well-publicized statements without being questioned. I don't see M$M questioning them when they'll come out with some lame excuse to block any tax reform that will benefit the middle class.

8. Carly Fiorina is Suddenly Concerned about Income Inequality

Did they have a near death experience? Did they find Jesus?

"My illness helped me to see that what was missing in society is what was missing in me: a little heart, a lot of brotherhood. The '80s were about acquiring — acquiring wealth, power, prestige. I know. I acquired more wealth, power, and prestige than most. But you can acquire all you want and still feel empty. What power wouldn't I trade for a little more time with my family? What price wouldn't I pay for an evening with friends? It took a deadly illness to put me eye to eye with that truth, but it is a truth that the country, caught up in its ruthless ambitions and moral decay, can learn on my dime. I don't know who will lead us through the '90s, but they must be made to speak to this spiritual vacuum at the heart of American society, this tumor of the soul....I was wrong to follow the meanness of Conservatism. I should have been trying to help people instead of taking advantage of them. I don't hate anyone anymore. For the first time in my life I don't hate somebody. I have nothing but good feelings toward people. I've found Jesus Christ – It's that simple. He's made a difference. (Reagan's campaign manager "death-bed confession" in Feb. 1991 article for Life Magazine )”

9. Apparently Republicans do not understand that cutting social security would not help poor people

Perhaps someone could explain to them what happens to already poverty stricken disabled people when you cut their benefits...very slowly...so they can understand...this might be hard for them at first.
