A whirlwind weekend of inaugural events for new Gov. Bruce Rauner culminated Monday night with a Toby Keith concert and a dance with wife Diana to the country star's "You Shouldn't Kiss Me Like This.".

Dressed casually in jeans, the governor twirled the state's new first lady on the convention center stage where just hours earlier he took the oath of office.

Before that, the Rauners worked the crowd, posing for photos and shaking hands amid the standing room crowd.

and asked about the expiration of the temporary Illinois tax, the first words out of this scum bags mouth were that we have to look at cuts to education and medicaid. I went to the tv stations web site for confirmation but that part of the interview was not there.
It's going to be a really bad four years and I may lose some friends over this one. One can only honor a political truce so long when you see groups of people intentionally hurt.
