Is there an IQ test in Texas GOP politics?

As in anyone with a double-digit IQ is disqualified?

Before posting a bizarre tweet linking President Obama to Adolf Hitler, Rep. Randy Weber appeared on “Washington Watch” with Craig James of the Family Research Council to promote his anti-gay State Marriage Defense Act. The Texas Republican told James that President Obama and the gay community are launching an attack against traditional American values in order to bring the country down.

That pledges Allegiance to their State flag after doing the pledge to the American flag?

Texas is the only state I know of that does it.

You should live here. Its the rural districts that is the "guns and god" group. The "burbs" are the yuppie no tax crowd.

For example Ann Richards and Barbara Jordan. While she wasn't a politician Molly Ivins was also raised in Texas.

Yes, there are a lot of idiots in Texas, but the state has produced some very eloquent voices as well.
