TOMBALL, TX (KTRK) -- The Harris County Sheriff's Office has confirmed a hostage situation at Tomball Regional Medical Hospital.

The scene is unfolding on 605 Holderrieth Boulevard. It's unclear confirm how many hostages are involved in the incident.

UPDATE 9:06 p.m. EST: A Gunman entered Tomball Medical Center near Houston Saturday and has taken at least two people hostages, PzFeed reported. KHOU reported a hospital spokeswoman said the situation was "being assessed" but she declined to give further details.
