they would be making plans for France to invade some oil rich middle-east country

The land of "freedom fries" is teaching the American fear mongering sky is falling American media a lesson in restraint and common sense. They do NOT like it, contrary to all their efforts.

I expect them to ignore Hollande as much as possible, the contrast is painfully clear.
