U.S. Senator Ron Johnson, you know-- the guy who got rich by finding someone to support him, has a pearl of wisdom for all the working single moms out there: If she wants to "increase her take-home pay” instead of having yet "another child out of wedlock" to increase her welfare windfall, she should instead "find someone to support her."

in fact, we should all visit the FB pages of all the Chairs in both House and Senate, and our own individual Congress person's FB page. We need to do this on a regular basis and post our own truths about what these idiots are doing and saying -- especially when they tell outrageous lies and make these condescending comments.

My Congressman is Jeb Hensarling, Finance Chair and Tparty darling. I regularly post on his FB page and get told (bullyed) by the male Tparty Taliban to get off his page. Last time, I commented that as a Christian, he doesn't actually practice the teachings of Jesus to feed the poor and heal the sick. One woman actually responded with a polite comments that she wanted to know in what way he didn't practice those teachings? Voila! An opportunity for a teaching moment. I replied that he just voted to deeply slash SSDI payments to the disabled, has sworn to take away health insurance for 10+ million Americans, and last year voted for a Farm bill to drastically reduce supplemental food aid to poor mothers and children. I continually tell his FB friends that he doesn't work for them, he works for Wall St. His biggest contributors are banks (surprise, surprise snark).

So hey! Get busy and friend the FB pages of these idiots and let their constituents know that we are watching, commenting, and VOTING! The tparty ain't going to come to this site. We have to go where they are.

They will just tune you out. "FU" doesn't persuade anyone to your point of view. We all need to make the effort to use right speech to tell these Tparty people that their comments are condescending and demeaning to women. There are a lot of single mothers, who were married when they conceived children, but now their ex-husbands are not around to support their children. There are also a lot of women, who were not married at the time of conceiving their children, but the planned parenthood clinics were closed in their states, they didn't have healthcare coverage for birth control, and their home schooling and charter schools didn't teach about birth control. Or maybe they were raped!!

But the children are here now. Please please post stuff like this on his FB page.
