Author of satire about Islamist Government in France suspends promotion of book

The publisher of Michel Houellebecq’s new novel, which envisions an Islamist government in France, has announced that the author is “suspending promotion” of the novel, AFP reports.

1. I imagine he's thinking of the backlash innocent Muslims are already facing

and that many are already saying how afraid they are. Suspending is temporary, he'll probably release it when tensions aren't so high and things aren't so dangerous for those who had no part in any of it. Jmo, but I think he's being kind and wise.

Very different though from the other French police pictured going from door to door in only uniforms and vests. The full body-geared one was in the are they believe the killers are. Sure hope they catch them soon.
