The only thing I find surprising is that 47% of Saudis think that it is up to the individual woman. I would have guessed much lower.

It would be interesting to see how the stats break down between men and women opinions in both polls.

I just googled Dress code laws in Egypt and apparently they're lax. But, women are advised to be very "conservative" (in western dress) in dress if visiting, particularly in rural areas outside of the cities. And, it's mostly advised because of young men and their possible comments and/or advances.
