That's his big "moment," when he tells you what the White House chef is serving that day, and he makes some kind of witty little comment. He knows that many find the segment to be stupid and that only encourages him.

Not only would it not do a thing about "fixing" Romney's problem with women, it also would alienate the religious nuts in the base once they find out she's a lesbian.

He said it with a straight face and no trace of irony whatsoever. It was another guest on Tweety's "panel" who acknowledged that Condi would bring a considerable amount of "Bush baggage" with her.

Not only that, but it would unnecessarily connect him with Bush, giving the Obama campaign another angle of attack. I find it hard to believe Chuck Todd really believes any of this. No Republican strategist worth his/her salt would seriously suggest picking Condi Rice.

It was supposed to be an interview.

Toad asked a question ... and then Mack answered a question that was only asked in his own head. Then he rambled on ... talking point after talking point ... as Chuck stuttered in a sad attempt to regain control.

At one point Chuckie asked a question and Mack actually said ... I'm not interested in that ... and then he went on for 2 minutes, as Chuck sat there like a prop. Mack when unchallanged at any point in the infomercial, oppps, I mean interview.

What a clown Toad is.

No matter what he does. This divergence is driven by policy, not atmospherics, and he cannot change the policy even if he wanted to: he is not in charge of it, it is in the hands of the wing-nuts in Congress and state legislatures.

since REPUBLICAN women who are having issues right now will see her as a progressive choice. That is one way to diminish the gender gap.

Of course I am not looking at this through partisan eyes where I would and do have issues with Condy, but hard analysis of what it would do with SOME of the electorate. In that sense she is the best choice.

The rest, well except Portman (who?) hurt Romney with that demographic.
