Assuming Hillary, Biden, and Warren aren't elected in 2016, do we have any credible candidates for 2020? Who is on the bench?
Hillary 73 in 2020
Biden 78 in 2020
Warren 71 in 2020
All three would be (subjectively) too old to run in 2020. Who do we have lined up after that? Democrats need to be developing candidates for the long term.
I think another way of looking at this is it is "now or never" for Warren.

(22,000 posts)If we don't then all hell is going to break loose. For the incumbent party to hold the WH three terms in a row is a difficult task. Personally I'd like to see 5-6 times, but the odds on that would be very long.
