I hope the NY Giants fans remember that.
I was just watching the game but now I am pulling for the Detroit Lions.
Update .... Dallas won the game and Christie is going to the Cowboy's
locker room to celebrate .... and that is a really dumb ass move. The NY
Giants' home field is in East Rutherford, NJ. Where the hell are his people
to tell him he is commiting career suicide with tens of thousands of
fans of the NY Giants?

(38,506 posts)there is someone in Jersey who doesn't pull for the Jets or Giants. At least someone from North Jersey usually does. I could understand someone from South Jersey pulling for a Pennsylvania team, because they live closer. But really, Dallas?

Botany
(70,559 posts)<Chris Christie, the governor of New Jersey, is a big-time fan of the Dallas Cowboys. Always has been, always will be even if it costs him votes.
And, when the Cowboys play in his home state and in Dallas, hes seated at the hand of owner Jerry Jones in the luxury suite. So, when the Cowboys scored the go-ahead touchdown against the Detroit Lions in their NFC wild-card game Sunday evening, he was right there, in a bright orange sweater, unable to contain his glee.>
video @ the link ..... Christie must think he is bullet proof ..... lots of NFL fans will see Christie as a
total D-bag for his actions. Where the hell are Christie's handlers to tell him that he really is pissing
of lots of people in the North East?

(2,931 posts)I think its the NFL who owns all the camera's. They claim to own the broadcasting rights anyway, and just sell the right to carry it to fox/cbs/abc/nbc. But by the way that game was officiated in the final 5 minutes, I think the NFL may just be as corrupt as fox is anyway...

(10,893 posts)might be a bandwagoner. It's interesting that he not only has been paling around with JJ as the Cowboys are hot, but he also happened to be at an Oakland A's game last year when they were good. Either that, or he could be in both states in an attempt to lure jobs away, as my sister thinks.

(39,377 posts)That was back in the late-ish 70s and a lot of frontrunners in the NYC-area where I grew up joined in. They fell for the cheerleaders and that dumbassed TV show, too. I used to make fun of them and root for the Redskins just to piss them off. Makes total sense to me that Christie joined in.

(7,463 posts)never seen anything like it. At least Dallas has no chance in hell in Green Bay.
That call was awful .... the Dallas player's back was to the ball, he hit the man before
the ball got there and he never turned around to "find the ball."

(1,423 posts)against Indy. They were lining up on defense almost every play in the neutral zone and they were holding on defense every play. I don't get tv so I didn't watch the Lions game but I've seen this game before by the refs. The NFL thinks its good for the league if Dallas wins. Last 3 Dallas games were rigged, even though Indy sucked that day.
I will tell you one thing. When Romo gets back to Seattle we are going to put him on the ground all day long. The refs can't fix that when we are slamming their QB.
