Report: Cop Turned Himself In For Allegedly Attacking MTA Worker At Subway Station

Yesterday, the NYPD asked for the public's help in identifying the man who allegedly attacked an on-duty subway conductor at the East Tremont Avenue station in the Bronx. Now, WCBS 2 is reporting that a police officer recognized himself from the surveillance video and subsequently turned himself in.

At least we know where the spike in crime is coming from.

I love how they worded that.

They are trying their darnest to avoid saying that a police officer was caught assaulting a man.

"Eureka!, I recognize the person in that video"

That sort of intentionally misleading language is usually apparent to me too.

A normal person who thought they were being disrepected by the employee would gave gotten the disrespectful employee's name/badge number and called or wrote the MTA customer relations office.
I wonder what colour the attacked employee is.

Sickening, no charges laid.

As in, "Oh, that was me who assaulted the conductor?!"

WCBS 2 reports, "The officer"—who was off-duty during the incident—"told investigators the woman cursed at him after he asked her a question, and grabbed his phone to prevent him from taking her picture, police alleged."

Story in place... she allegedly disrespected a fine upstanding officer of the law, so deserved a beating.

And was suspected of gang affiliations. And had trace amounts of weed in her system.
