Hobbits should maybe stay in as it may get icy today.

Some place local in Austin, or do you have to order from the internet? I get down to Austin now and then.

Looking out my kitchen window at an overgrown back yard with pretensions to swamp. Got warm enough for everything to grow again, then turned cold and soggy.

Can't dig the garden, too wet. Can't mow.

Heck, don't even want to look out the kitchen window any more.

Happy New Year!

Lots of above average temperatures throughout the month. Finally starting to get cooler the last few days.

I'm up here about halfway between Taylor and Temple. 35* and cold nasty rain is falling. Time for another cup of tea! And then, brandy for later.....
