I did some really stupid stuff setting up my Macbook Air.

It had me jumping through hoops trying to figure out how
to get it to let me start up without having to log in first.

It took several tries and lots of visits to google search,
but I finally found the help site that enabled me to change
the configuration for starting up.

Then I had to figure out how to change my website to a
different google account. That was an experience too; but
I finally found the help site I needed for that.

Also, the Macbook Air has a different interface from my older
Macbook; but I'm really learning to like it now that I've figured
some stuff out. It's really fast and the battery life is much
longer.

It also comes with a program called Pages which opens all my
MS Word files and seems pretty nifty till I decide whether I
need to get the latest MS Word program or not.

But one thing I've learned about the Mac. I can make all
kinds of mistakes and they're all fixable. These computers
never just die or go bad. They just get outdated and clunky
compared to the new ones; so every so often I like to upgrade.

So far so good.
