Los Angeles, CA (April 23, 2012) – Lindsay Lohan is set to star as the legendary Elizabeth Taylor in the Lifetime Original Movie Liz & Dick, based on the true story of the screen icon’s historic romance with actor Richard Burton. Principal photography on the movie will begin in early June in Los Angeles, it was announced today by Rob Sharenow, Executive Vice President, Programming, of Lifetime Networks.

she's got the chops. She's no Ashton. She is sort of a Liz, in that her personal woes tend to outplay her work in the media, people see her as the press writes her, and dismiss her work 'cause of her wonton ways.

If the movie is true to Liz's demons, maybe LL will see what Liz wasted and have a "holy shit this is what I am doing in my own life" moment. Stranger things have happened. And I agree with your point about her talent, when she is on she is one of the best actresses in Hollywood. Her parents fucked the duck while raising her, I hope she turns it around.

She can't even get insured for a movie, is under investigation for two probation-revoking assault and batteries, a hit-and-run, and several civil suits. Lifetime has never mentioned she's been cast, she's not listed in imdb as such, and the Canadian Government has denied she's been given a work permit. And, they never will give her one.

26. Lifetime movies are not real movies

They are low budget TV movie of the weeks. At least that is my impression.

With any luck, Lindsay gets a positive review and a real role results. But I am expecting bad acting and low production values.
