I dont know what they were making, but it wasnt that book. Not that you could actually make that book into a movie, ever.

I feel the same way about FEAR AND LOATHING IN LAS VEGAS.

I mean, tough to get the lizards and shit right, but all in all it was pretty close to the actual text.

But then I love Terry Gilliam. His 'failures' are 100 times better than most peoples' successes. Far and away one of my favorite directors of all time.
