How the GOP and corporate media conspired to win the last election?

Whether intentional or otherwise, the result was what the GOP wanted and got. A disillusioned electorate who blamed all the problems, imaginary or real, on President Barack Obama.

There was no effort to report on the economy, jobs created, stock market gains, or the overall healthy direction that our economy was going.

Instead, it was about Benghazi, IRS, dictator, usurper of power, incompetence, impeachment, lawlessness of the Administration, and numerous other anti-Obama subjects, that monopolized the time on all the corporate networks. Democratic politicians that attempted to talk about the economy were either ignored or ridiculed into submission. The corporate media painted the picture that the GOP wanted.

Now, we are told of all the good news happening in our economy. It can be debated whether or not it is good for the average American but the fact remains that it was not reported at all before the last election.

The media has become all-powerful. They can change the direction of the political winds at their whimsy. It doesn't help that the Democratic Party leadership, in bed with the corporations, is not in a position to fight these forces that won the last propaganda war against the people.
